Now that you have read all the necessary information, it is time to create an account and make your character! We have a simple registration process. Just post in the sorting thread for either students or adults and you will be sorted within a few days. If you would like to be a creature or have an ability, please visit the subforum for applications.

Once your character is sorted it is time to claim all the information about them. The Face Claim and Member Directory are the only mandatory claims, however we recommend you complete all relevant claims.

This is the main gathering place inside the castle, with four long tables and a fifth in the front for faculty. Students eat meals, study, and hang out with friends here. All important school announcements are made by the headmaster here and all school events are held inside the hall.

The way to get around the castle is to walk through the vast hallways. Each classroom can be accessed through the corridors. Inside this board you can also find classrooms and secret passages.

The Hogwarts library is large and well stocked with every book you could imagine, both magical and muggle. You can find many tables and chairs to study in as well as endless shelves of books, magazines, newspapers, and volumes. The restricted section is off limits without teacher permission.

The Room of Requirement appears only to those with a true need for it. It's location is not specifically known because of this. It takes on the appearance of what the seeker needs most. Some people will go their whole life without ever seeing the inside.

This is where all the owls will stay when they are not in use. If you do not have your own to send letters, then there are some that belong to the school for you to use. You can also find the owl post within this board, the wizard version of texting.

A rather impressive room, the clock tower is a nice place to think and look out at the courtyard. Be careful not to get to close to the clock or risk injury.

Directly outside from the school, this stone courtyard is a beautiful and calm place to sit and relax.

The gardens and Greenhouses are located throughout the grounds. You can find a wide variety of plants in these locations, both magical and mundane. Herbology is held in the greenhouses, but they are open to students when classes are not going on.

There are lots of grass areas around the castle. These are nice places to relax, picnic, study, or play games. The Whomping Willow is also located on the lawns.

There are two lakes around the school. The Black Lake is home to any manner of creatures, both friendly and not. The second lake is smaller and often a fun place to swim in the summer.

A favorite passtime for the wizarding world is the magnificent game of Quidditch. This pitch is where all official, and unofficial, matches are held. Students are welcome to use it when games are not going on.

Dark and thick, the forbidden forest is a scary and dangerous place for all students. Nobody is allowed to enter without permission, although there is no real way to tell if a student enters on their own unless they are tattled on.

Diagon Alley is one of the main shopping districts in Britain. It is home to many shops and pubs and is where students generally go to shop for school supplies.

A dark and mysterious place, Knockturn Alley is not home to the most reputable of characters. Many of the shops deal in dark arts, so those light of heart should not venture into the dirty streets.

Hogsmeade is a small wizarding village near Hogwarts that is a great getaway for students. A low stress environment with plenty of shopping and eating, this is a great location to visit or live in.

The Ministry of Magic is located in London and is the home of Britain's wizarding government. At this time we will not be adding subboards for each department, but once this board gets used more we will. You can always suggest a sub board to be added sooner.

St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is also located in London and is the go-to location for all manner of health care. There are many different levels and again, sub boards will not immediately be created.

There are many muggle locations in the world that wizards sometimes visit. This is the board where you can role play these places.

Many places in Britain are considered to be of wizarding importance, whether it's Godric's Hollow or a small town. This is the board where you can thread various places in the wizarding world.

The world is a big place and with apparition, travel is that much easier. Those who want to see the world, or perhaps who live outside of Britain, can use this board.
